The hotel’s 50 guestrooms are among the most enchanting in London. All feature antique furniture, period pictures and ornate beds, which combine perfectly with modern luxuries such as flat screen televisions and DVD players in every room.
The most impressive of the guest rooms is the Tudor Room, which boasts a private minstrel’s gallery, while the Judy Garland Room features her original bed and a full selection of Ms Garland’s DVDs.
Bistro One Ninety Queen’s Gate at The Gore is open for all day dining from 7am through to last orders at 11.30pm. The modern British menu has been created by the Head Chef, Jason Shaw, who prides himself on using the best quality season produce.
Bar 190 has just introduced Cinderella’s Carriage. This is an elaborate raised seating booth made from intricate gold-painted wood. Draped in floor-to-ceiling red velvet curtains, Cinderella’s Carriage is reminiscent of an elegant Elizabethan carriage.
